Consumer Classroom is introduced in a Slovak teacher's newspaper !

Abstract :

Teacher's work is demanding, requires knowledge of many scientific disciplines. A teacher has to be the designer and coordinator of teaching, manager of  himself and the pupils,  masters of modern information and communication technologies. Today´s  education has to break barriers between subjects of traditionally teaching, overcome their isolation and allows more complex linking of content with the real world. It means also accept cross-curriculum teaching and thus intensively  motivates pupils.

All these requirements  increases  demands on teacher´s work, which is not easy. First, the production of teaching resources is not easy, it requires practice and experience. Second, information and communication technologies bring unprecedented opportunities to draw from learning resources via the Internet. This is reason why the European Commission supported the creation of Consumer Classroom - educational website with interested teaching  resources for consumer education in the form of multimedia (texts, image publications, animations, sounds, videos, etc.).
