The European Commission launched on 12 June a public consultation that will feed in to the Commission's future Digital contracts proposal . The proposal - an essential element of the Commission's Digital Single Market Strategy announced on 6 May , aims to bring clear and harmonised rules on digital contracts that will help unleash the potential of the digital economy in Europe.
The consultation aims to provide an opportunity for interested parties to have a say on the main issues and possible areas for improvement in online purchases. It will close on 29 July 2015.
