The happy winners of the first edition of Consumer Classroom’s interschool competition are having some great time on their trip to Brussels. The students of Aniturri Bhi School (Agurain, Spain) worked on the topic of Sustainable Consumption and proposed a digital poster that gathered their opinions and ideas in audiovisual forms. The team competed for this trip against more than 60 other teams from around Europe and came up with “Environmental problems the Earth is facing” , showing an outstanding commitment and passion for being responsible citizens.
Take a look at their work and you may get inspired why teaching consumer education is worthwhile!
As a part of their prize, the winners had a privileged visit to the main European Union institutions in Brussels. Later on Neven Mimica, Member of the EC in charge of Consumer Policy, personally received the students to congratulate them for their excellent work and spoke to them on the importance of what they have done and their continued efforts. Think about joining the second edition of our interschool competition this year and stay tuned to learn all the details how to sign up. Your students could be the best in Europe next year!
