This month, Consumer Classroom is attending key educational events in several European countries.
Starting on October 29 th 2015 in Brussels next to our long-standing partner the European Civil Society Platform on Lifelong Learning (EUCIS-LLL) and CONCORD, the European NGO confederation for relief and development. A European “un-conference” was organized on the “ Best of Global Learning ” based on the DEEEP project co-funded by the European Union and initiated by the Development Awareness Raising and Education Forum (DARE Forum) in 2013. This great initiative promotes global education for everyone, interactive learning on controversial issues and encourages critical thinking on key subjects. Global learning can include intercultural education, development education, sustainable and environmental education, peer to peer education and citizens’ rights in the classroom. The Consumer Classroom team has shared some of its best practices while encouraging teachers to teach consumer education to their students.
In Poland , our National Team Partner Marcin Polak from the Think! Foundation is also undertaking live demonstrations to teachers during workshops in 3 different cities: Poznan ( October 23 rd ), Lublin ( November 20 th ) and Jastrzebie ( November 27 th ). These ICT & Education workshops are organized by our partner Edunews.pl . Teachers have the possibility to navigate on Consumer Classroom and be sensitized to the importance of including consumer education in their day-to-day work.

This National conference is organized by the Lithuanian Ministry of Education and the Education Development Centre (Ugdymo Plétotés Centras), which is also partner of Consumer Classroom.
