I'm and IT teacher and I have a hobby project to make static content interactive Electronic Game School
But this is not why I was looking at the forum. Lately I had an argument with my colleague about a simple experiment.
If we choose 10 random students and give them a task to learn about one day, and 2 options are offered for learning:
1. Through a static board.
2. Through an interactive board. Interactive board includes a replica of the static one, the difference is only that elements can be moved.
A) Which option do you think would elect a majority of the students?
B) Which option do you think would elect a majority, if we take 10 random adults and give them the same task?
It probably would be inappropriate to engage students with such things while in cass, so ask for just opinion. My observations shows:
2. A) Where most students choose the interactive board.
2. B) Where most adults choose the interactive board again.
My colleague decided not to take a gess, although he did not agree with me. Strange, but he has that right. I would be interested to see more data :)
