The Energy Winter Package is a positive news for the 2030 Energy Objectives! The Commission will promote a larger part of renewables energies in Europe’s grid by 2030. This package will plan to cut energy use by 30%, cancel subsidies for coal-fired plants and enforce greater cross-border trade. Indeed, in an effort to decarbonise the economy, reduce dependence on imports of fossil fuel and lighten the load on the grid, the package set a target to cut energy use by 30% by 2030.

This Energy package contains institutional measures dedicated to the industry and consumers to reach the Energy objectives. These measures aims also at promoting the renewable energy use in our daily life. These measure will have direct impacts on consumers, more precisely on their bills.
