The ECCs network is gathering European Consumer Centres in 30 countries (the 28 Member States, Iceland and Norway).
These centres are cofunded by the European Commission. Their aim is to defend consumers' interests accross Europe, especially regarding cross border issues and e-commerce.
In 2013, the centres helped more than 80 000 people.
The continuity of the ECCs network programme will start in March 2014. It wil cost only 0,05 € per citizen per year until 2020.
