In February the European Commission published the 2 nd consumer market study on retail electricity market for EU consumers. This study complete the first one conducted and published on 2010.
The objective for this second study is really to understand and examine if an efficient retail electricity market is implemented in the EU for consumers. The aim is also to compare with the first conducted study in 2010 and assess the performance of the market since then.
At the end, reading the study and factsheets will give you an idea of how EU Consumers make choices. Its findings offer a clear insight into consumers' experiences in terms of choice, comparability, billing information, and complaint handling.
