As far as the Internet has become the main source of information and communication, users - and especially young people - are facing with old and new risks and opportunities. Teachers and educators are committed to involve their students in educational activities about new technologies and the web, and the " Digital and Media Literacy Toolkit " can be a great resources.
Developed by pedagogical experts of the VSAV - Virtual Stage Against Violence, the Toolkit identifies some important areas of intervention and proposes five units articulated in several activities and supplied with a series of resources that teachers can use in the classroom. The Toolkit aim at developing awarness among students about key issues for the digital citizenship: participation, credibility, identity, privacy, autorship and creativity.
