Industrial production and alternatives. The didactic quality of this documentary was also highlighted during the presentation by Prince Philippe of Belgium's press prize granted by the Federal Council for Sustainable Development in 2012.
The file is divided into seven chapters according to the main themes of the film (production, global economy, environment, animal welfare, consumer action and "meat system") and provides a way of seeing and understanding the interdependencies between these issues . Indeed, it is not a question of demonizing meat, advocating vegetarianism, and much less finger pointing farmers and ranchers, but to understand the functioning of this system, to question the excesses of the industrial production of meat and dig alternatives, individually and collectively.
