Hoe leggen wij uit wat circulaire economie is aan kinderen? En is dit belangrijk? In de volwassen wereld spreken overheid en bedrijfsleven zich meer en meer uit over duurzaamheid en formuleren zij ambities voor een volledig circulaire economie. In september 2016 heeft de Rijksoverheid het Rapport Nederland Circulair in 2050 gepubliceerd. Vóór 2050 moet een (volledig) circulaire economie zijn bereikt. Degenen die daar een grote bijdrage aan moeten leveren zitten nu nog op school. 7DagenCirculair is een lesprogramma voor (basis)scholen. Gedurende 7 dagen maken kinderen op een actieve manier kennis met de circulaire economie, de mogelijkheden binnen deze economie en gaan ze concreet aan de slag met circulaire ondernemers en met Warenhuisje.
