The easiest way to see the bigger picture of the worldeconomy is to think back to the small villages where we used to live together. By dividing and specializing all the labour we could do things much better and faster so that living became much easier and more comfortable. But in all the different forms of crisis which we experience today we can also realise that "The Story of Stuff" is always the result of our own decisions for which products or services we decided to spend our euro's yens or dollars. So in fact it is always "The Story of Us".

In the big picture shown by the poster presentation of the steering wheel of a ship with the twelve necessities of life we can even see how all human activities are interrelated in the same way as the human being in head-heart-hands. Especially when we look to the horizontal and vertical lines representing our activities for insights (travelling and discovering - science and research - education - communication) and for what we need (nutrition, clothing, nature, commodities - housing and buildings - social and spiritual relations in associations and religions). The four other necessities of life (art - healthcare - money - legislation and politics) are like the four chambers of our heart as communicators and moderators, between head a hands, between ideas and reality.

So it is like a general who thinks about strategy tactics and operations, or a manager about planning organization and production, that consumers are making a list first, then go hopping through the city and look in all the shops, and ultimately take their decisions to buy or not to buy!
