Critical documentary about sharing economy, its benefits and risks Many initiatives to share stuff come from idealism: by sharing tools, books, or your car with others, less of them can be produced. This saves raw materials and energy, which is good for the climate. Some inititiatives have become global companies with high profits as a result, like Airbnb and Uber. Do they still fit in the sharing economy? At the website of SchoolTV you can rewatch with the class the Tegenlicht-documentary (VPRO) 'Why sharing?' (about 26 minutes). SchoolTV has added a manual and check questions for use in the lesson.
