2014 Inter-School Competition

Consumer Classroom would like to thank all of you for your project contest entries. We are extremely pleased to announce the winners entries for the 2nd edition of the Inter-School Competition dedicated to the theme “Online Shopping”.

A total of 20 projects (video and multimedia lesson) from across Europe representing 14 countries were narrowed down by the jury members to 10 short-listed projects of which the voters conferred and decided the winning projects as follows:

First prize:

2 days trip to Brussels to visit the main European Institution is awarded, thanks to the 3674 votes, to the project “ Shop around the clock ” submitted by an Austrian-Lithuanian team composed of :

  • 17 Austrian students coordinated by Isabella Polligger from “HTL-Villach” of Villach, Austria.
  • 16 Lithuanian students coordinated by Daiva Bitvinskienė from “President Jonas Zemaitis Gymnasium” of Raseiniai , Lithuania.

The project entry is a website page presenting their multimedia lesson filled with interesting video, interview, song and presentation about Online Shopping

Second prize:

An item to be chosen to equip their classes is awarded, thanks to the 3562 votes to the project “World of Online Shopping” from a Romanian-Bulgarian team composed of

  • 11 students coordinated by Mirela Vijulie from the “Colegiul National & Ecaterina Teodoroiu” of Târgu-Jiu, Romania
  • 14 students coordinated by Dimitrina Arnaudova from the “Private English Language Secondary School” of Chelopech, Bulgaria

The project entry is a video showing clearly the advantages of online shopping with a great choreography from the students on the song Vogue of Madonna.     

An honorary certificate will be delivered to all the project teams.

For those of you who entered but did not win, know that the Consumer Classroom team and the jury truly enjoyed discovering your project and check our Inter-School Project Gallery to see if your project is on display. Keep in mind that there will be more contests in the future!
