In my study, I examine a particular school's capacity to increase students' awareness, by which I mean awareness of food consumption. I do this partly by earlier research and through interviews with students, teachers and the principal of the school. Through the interviews I have investigated what the school has values about education on consumer awareness. I have also reviewed the curriculum and it shows in the survey that the school has an important part in creating an awareness among students. Through interviews, I have also been presented the program on conscious consumption can be formed. I have been informed of how the school has worked with it and how they wish they had been able to shape the program. The survey shows that the school is limited by the higher courts, but that they use the resources they have in that school is in the countryside. With this in mind, I entered the possibilities and limitations in teaching on consumer awareness, and it suggests that the teacher's personal experiences, values and beliefs play a large role in how education is being formed.
